DANIEL "DANTONIO" INYANG

Swayed in the current ecclesiastical move rupturing the music scene is Port Harcourt’s finest contemporary Reggae/Dancehall maestro Daniel Inyang popularly known as “Dantonio”. The soul of his music sunk deep in positive vibes and delivered in his high-pitched resonant voice is usually with such precision evident of a thoroughly nurtured musicianship; one cannot help but move and dance in its allure.

He released his first Single “Piom Piom Piom”; a scintillating piece sung to the instrumental of J.Martins’ “Oyoyo”. The single immediately became the rave of the moment as it took to the airwaves, mix-tapes, streets and in every event giving him popularity across the Nation.

His debut studio album, “Rose on Concrete” which was released in 2011 listed such hits as “Kwo ikwo, Billion-Million, Hustle, Serenade and Kinda Gyal” that expressed his musical diversity endearing him the more to his fans and winning numerous accolades in the Niger Delta Advancement Awards (NDAA), AMBASSADOR Awards and Odudu Awards alongside various recognitions. The “Piom Piom Piom” crooner is currently the Odudu Awards Artiste of the Year having bagged 5 awards in the 2013 edition of the event.

In obedience to divine direction owing to his renewed affections and faith in Jesus Christ, he released a 6 Tracks Extended Play (EP) title REBIRTH to celebrate Christ on 9th October 2013. The Churches, Christian gatherings and even Secular gatherings are now having so much of this energetic and enigmatic performer, singer, songwriter and producer who is now driven with his discovered purpose to point people to the facts of life, spirituality and justice in love. Dantonio-The-Great as he prefers to be called now is working on his sophomore studio album due for release very soon(details coming soon) but while the album gets the finishing touches, some singles will be dropping to further prove that Dantonio-The-Great & his music can only get better.
